How To Blog – Crash Course – Part 5
Congratulations on making it this far in the Crash Course on How to Blog… or better said, “How To Start Your First Blog.”
In this post I’ll be sharing five very easy ways that you use your blog to make Money.
When you first start learning how to blog, the main thing I want you to realize is that your blog can potentially be a complete full-time source of income for you… when you know what to do with it. Blogs have gone from initially being used as somewhat of an online journal to now fitting a whole range of needs – both social and business.
The great thing about learning how to blog is the fact that it doesn’t matter what niche you may be in, or what your blog’s topic is, you can tailor your blog to make you money. So let’s jump right in.
1. How To Blog With Network Marketing
I’m going to start with network marketing because mlm was one of the most lucrative business models I’ve used since leaving corporate America. What many network marketers don’ t yet realize is that promoting company replicated websites does nothing to set you apart from the other tens of thousands of members within that organization. If you want to build an mlm business online, knowing how to blog to promote your business is not an option. There are some specifics that you need to know when starting a blog to build a network marketing business. I’ll add many posts to this blog sharing the things you must do for a successful mlm blog. Subscribe to my RSS Feed to make sure you receive these updates.
2. How To Blog and Sell Products
Selling your own product is another option. Again, every good niche has information that people want to know more about. If you’ve become knowledgeable about your niche, you can add extreme value to your blog visitors by creating information products in the form of a video training series, e-book, or CD set. Making these products downloadable for instant access is usually the best way to go. You simply advertise your product on your blog. Your readers are already familiar with you, so selling them on your product… should not be difficult (if it’s good).
3. How to Blog and Use Contextual Advertising
You can use contextual advertising to make money from your blog with very little intervention on your part. This works with companies that are similar to CPA (cost per action). This means that you can place links within posts on your blog and if your reader clicks the link, and purchases your product, you get paid. This works for many advertisers who simply want to get as many eyes on their product as possible. Getting hundreds of clicks per month can provide a very nice passive stream of income.
4. How To Blog with Google Adsense and PPC (pay-per-click)
With these methods, you simply add some code to your blog. When your readers visit your site, should they click on any of those links, again… you will get paid. These ads don’t appear within the body of your post, but they are based on the content of your posts so they will be attractive to your audience. The amounts you’ll be paid are extremely small in comparison to what you would receive if you’re actually selling products. However, when done correctly, Google adsense and PPC could eventually add hundreds… even thousands of dollars to your bank account every month!
5. How To Blog Using Post Reviews
Once you really learn how to blog and have built your blog to the point that you’re getting really good traffic every day, you can actually post reviews about just about anything. Writing and posting reviews about various companies and their products can pay you well. There are several networks that link advertisers with bloggers. When you select to work within one of these networks, offer to post a review about the company or product on your blog. Most will pay you a flat rate for each review. The main key here is making sure that whatever you select to do a review about… it’s within your niche.
6. How To Blog With Affiliate Marketing
I saved this one for last because it’s hands-down, my favorite method of making money online. Out of all the methods on how to blog for cash listed here, affiliate marketing is the easiest and the simplest to start. You simply select products that others have created and write posts or reviews on your blog that include your affiliate link. Very, easy to do. and many affiliates will even provide you with pre-written articles and email messages. You can also include banners to affiliate products on your blog, but again… make sure it’s all relevant to your niche. One of the reasons this method is so simple to start is because you don’t have to create anything at all. There are many, many ways to market affiliate products, but keep in mind… if you’re using your blog as a marketing method, it only works once you have a lot of traffic visiting your blog daily.
As you can see, there are many different options to choose from when it comes to making money with your blog. Select the method that appeals most to you then learn everything you can about how to work it properly.
So you know… each of these methods have a lot of components to them. To implement any of the properly, you need to understand fully how they work and how to use them the right way.
